The Planning Division is responsible for comprehensive, long-range planning activities, including environmental and transportation planning as well as:
- the review of policy documents and administers changes to the Land Use Ordinance such as text amendments and rezonings
- support for strategic planning, small area plans, special studies and design workshops or charrette; and provides
- staff support to the Planning Board, the Transportation Advisory Board, the Environmental Advisory Board as well as other committees for special projects.
